Shop Hop and Huge Metal Flowers

I’m slow in posting about the shop hop so here’s the recap. We started our day at the crack of dawn.

As we drove, the sun looked like the moon behind the clouds.

Our first stop of the day was at Creative Pursuits and I really like this shop. I picked up Tim Holtz fabrics there.

We hit all 9 shops, arriving at the last shop, The Quilt Patch, at 4:58 but their normal hours are until 5:30 and they were staying open late for a bus load of quilters doing the hop so all was well. This particular shop is located in a former funeral home….Dale said that was good in case I shopped to death, HA!

I just have to share the huge metal flowers we stopped at today as our roadside attraction heading out for a day trip. They are made from old road signs and are located right in the town.
