When I unfurled RRCB from Sophie, I loaded Scrap Confetti so it’s a ready when the quilting mood strikes.
My friend Jan, The Colorful Fabriholic, explained how she handles large quilt binding….by making an octopus. Here’s mine 😁.
I got the quilt label made because it gets sewn down with the binding.
I mentioned I love the green backing fabric that is a Kim Diehl design. I didn’t have enough so there’s a red and a pink fabric on the back as well.
I cut the binding for the Starfire quilt, hoping I get motivated to get the blocks together. I need to find some backing fabric for this one too.
Funny, I didn’t think I had gotten much done, lol.
Happy Quilting, Cherie

You have been super productive. I love your quilt label.
ReplyDeleteLove the Confetti quilt! You have been very busy with making the binding for two quilts, finishing the backing for Quadrangle and loading the confetti quilt! I think I need a nap!
ReplyDeletegood to put the label right on it - there have been time I forgot and had sew one on later or sign the back with a sharpie in the corner. I love the one on your frame. A blog friend Pretti made one like that I believe
ReplyDeleteI love your scrap confetti! I have a hard time making low volume quilts.
