Loaded and Binding

When I unfurled RRCB from Sophie, I loaded Scrap Confetti so it’s a ready when the quilting mood strikes.

My friend Jan, The Colorful Fabriholic, explained how she handles large quilt binding….by making an octopus. Here’s mine 😁.

I got the quilt label made because it gets sewn down with the binding.

I mentioned I love the green backing fabric that is a Kim Diehl design. I didn’t have enough so there’s a red and a pink fabric on the back as well.

I cut the binding for the Starfire quilt, hoping I get motivated to get the blocks together. I need to find some backing fabric for this one too.

Oh, and I got the backing pieced together for Quadrangle!

Funny, I didn’t think I had gotten much done, lol.

Happy Quilting, Cherie

  2. Love the Confetti quilt! You have been very busy with making the binding for two quilts, finishing the backing for Quadrangle and loading the confetti quilt! I think I need a nap!

  3. good to put the label right on it - there have been time I forgot and had sew one on later or sign the back with a sharpie in the corner. I love the one on your frame. A blog friend Pretti made one like that I believe
