Finally, I’m ready to machine sew the binding on! I kept thinking I wanted to record Cheddar & Dill’s story on the label but there were so many words! I dithered, I dathered , I thought of Lynne’s quilt story books. In the end, I decided to do what I originally wanted, put the story on two labels……two BIG labels 😂😂😂. Why yes, the cheddar for the labels is a slightly different color 😜. And yes, they will blouse a little being so large, but I’m okay with both.

Congrats on winning the binding start. I too hate when it ends in or so close to the corner. Sometimes I just rip a few inches back and make a new seam if I haven't checked it all out before starting to sew.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the labels. I'm with you, I don't like when a binding seam ends up near a corner. I haven't pinned it in place, but I have run it around the quilt and eye ball it.
