I’ve been stitching the miles away 😀. I finished all four corners on the C&D binding with only about 36 inches left to sew. I should finish tomorrow!
I finished that last hexie flower & here’s where it stands. I’ll appliqué it to background fabric and see where it goes from there.
I pulled out another project I brought along…..a project started by my friend Darlene. I’m calling it the oval project for now and Darlene had left five ovals prepped.
Our roadside attraction for the day is in Palisade, CO. It’s in someone’s yard but is easily visible from the side of the road.
Happy quilting, Cherie

Your projets are beautiful, I love the hexie flowers. Fun huge fish, and yep, I see the mouth ;))
ReplyDeleteWow! You made a lot of progress on the Chedder and Dill binding! The hexies are very pretty and I will be interested in seeing the next steps. Thanks for the shout out on the quilts. The bags you gave back to me will be coming in handy to put all those pouches in. So much better than using a box. I need a big fish like that for my front yard! I couldn't zoom in so the humor will have to remain a mystery for me! LOL!! I always get a kick out of seeing the pouch in the background. I will be watching to see how the oval project develops.
ReplyDeleteYou are making a lot of progress on your road-trip projects. Will you have anything left to work on when you get to your destination? The fish is hilarious...poor guy in his mouth still has his shoes on!
ReplyDeleteYour oval project has me curious:)
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the roadside attraction!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the roadside attraction!!! Great progress on all your car projects.
ReplyDeleteLove the variety of wonderful colors in this post! Your binding looks fantastic and those ovals are intriguing.
ReplyDeleteYour hexie quilt reminds me of "flower power" from the 70's LOL - so cute. I am late reading blogs lately I try to get outside to do stuff before it gets hot - it will be better tomorrow as we cool back off again - the garden is a very sunny spot and by early to mid afternoon too hot for me so then I sit and read blogs before I get to the machine
ReplyDeleteSuch fun projects and I love that fish!!!
