October’s BOM Block

I knew I needed to pay attention to the Oct BOM instructions as it’s an unusual & complicated block. It was late in the day and I wanted to get it finished. However..……

…..I ended up with an alien block. Some un-sewing ensued and now I have a butterfly block…….

……that still looks like an alien but now it is assembled per the instructions 😂😂.

Nov & Dec’s BOM blocks have been released so I’ll get them sewn this week. It’s conceivable I could finish this quilt in time for Christmas 🎄. My only stumbling block may be from my new studio squirrel, Douglas, who saw me moving some precut squares while looking to free up a box. He thinks I should make some framed 4-patch blocks. I’m not listening la, la, la , la……..
