Finally finished clipping threads and packaged up the Cheddar & Dill quilt top & backing. Tracking says it should be delivered Monday….always worry about quilts in transit!
Here’s a block finished…..I’m shortening the name to “54” because writing 54-40 or Fight is a pain to type out, lol.
In my straightening & evaluating the fabric shelves efforts, I’ve come across pieces that I never washed (past Cherie was kicking that can down the road🙄) so I’m washing them as I find them. Check out the 2008 date on this leftover piece I was given!
And contrast this pile of washed and waiting to be ironed fabric from the shelves…….

I make errors sewing pieces together wrong when I get in a hurry and don't double check. The "54" block is sharp! It is fun to find fabrics you forgot about! I want to make a bunch of the smaller curved top pouches for a retreat my sister and are going to in a few months. I plan on going thru every pile of fabric in my storage room to use up any of the smaller pieces I find.

ReplyDeleteThe 54 block has some fun fabric in it. Those boards sure make it easy to keep the bits organized while sewing. Nice addition to your fabric stash, too! Oh, and don't worry if your package isn't delivered on Monday. I think the post office will be closed. But...perhaps they make special deliveries?
