It’s Friday……..

……and that means it’s time for the Finished (or not) Friday link up over at Alicia’s blog and I have a finish 😁. I finished quilting the kid cowboy quilt, which DH says I should name “Yippee-ki-yay”.

I finished loading scrappy mountains, so that counts too, right? 😄

And I tucked Sophie under her covers because we’re off on another trip.

I have some quilt-y things to take along so I’ll have something to post about keep busy and not backseat drive 😆.

Happy quilting, Cherie

  2. Yippee-ki-yay is too funny. DH has a great sense of humor. I love the quilt. Although the lovely cowboy print is not a square one, you did an excellent job finding a pattern to show off the best of it. Bravo! Love Scrappy Mountains too. It's my favourite colour. Enjoy the trip. ;^)

  7. I think your husband came up with the perfect name for the cowboy quilt. You are all set to start quilting scrappy mountains when you return. Safe travels!!

  8. The cowboy quilt is great! I am glad you didn't go any farther than Yippee-ki-yay with the name. All I could think about it the Die Hard movies where John McClain added a colorful embellishment after the yippee-ki-yay. LOL!! Have a great trip!

  9. Love the sashing and corner stone for each of the cowboy blocks. It creates a nearly 3 D effect.
